An insert function has been added to the input and output channels, allowing users to insert VST plug-ins via USB (using the included VST Rack Elements software). An additional USB driver mode option has also been introduced. In addition to the existing Mode 1, which allows 18 channels to be connected to a single application, Mode 2 allows connection to up to four applications connected to a PC or Mac via USB. With the introduction of the DAS AUDIO VANTEC 18A, we are further expanding our portfolio of professional active bass systems. The 18" subwoofer equipped with a 1000 watt RMS Class-D power amplifier with long-throw DAS-18LX driver and 4" voice coil achieves an excellent maximum sound pressure of 134 dB. The professionally finished housing is made from birch plywood and has a robust ISO-flex PU finish. The crossover works variably between 80 and 125 Hz and can be deactivated for neutral looping. With the help of a gain controller and a switchable phase inversion, the user receives improved control options over the system. (Made in Spain)
